We discussed what we should do for the pep rally. Our main idea is to use the robot as a basketball hoop so that people may throw things to the it and we can drive around to make it more difficult. We also thought that we should add lights, music, a fog machine, laser show, etc. Another idea was to mount a webcam of some kind to the robot and show people onto a projection screen somewhere else.

Today, we had the first meeting of the year.

We mostly discussed what FRC is, and showed new members our previous year’s robot. We also talked about a robot for Homecoming, which is happening late enough this year that we may be able to fix up something to show off.

Robot is currently able to drive! Figured out some issues on the code end. Working on a lift system for the totes.

Team 4404 has begun building their chassis. With a wide body fit, we plan on using a form of a tank-styled drive. We also began installing our electronics on our wood board for testing.

Took apart the intake today after finding out if it functioned in order to lighten the arms. The gearbox for the catapult has some issues, and the bumpers are being built.
